SDPD are more about shooting someone down right away rather than the hassle of catching a thief.

The best was a few years ago when 7 officers gunned down a homeless guy, who was also mentally ill, all because homie was shaking a stick at people driving/walking by. Yeah, 7 able bodied police could not control the situation without killing this guy.

I'd rather have the police shooting and killing the bad guy in the field. That way it saves us taxpayers the money and time of a trial allowing the scumbag criminal to get off on a technicality.
Dead criminals are not repeat criminals.
