New clutch why wont tranny slide in?????

I just installed my stage 4 spec and im trying to slide the tranny back in and it gets to about 1 inch away and wont go any further, what the hell am i missing or doing wrong here, I need the car it is my daily driver please someone help!

your disc is off center. take tranny back out , loosen the clutch andstick fingers behind it to make sure its even all the way around, try again When its right it will go - dont force it

before you installed it did you take the disc and slide it on the input shaft or is this the first clutch job you have done

it needs finessing. it wasnt installed wrong. you need to force it in. get it as close as possible and then use the bolts to pull it in the rest of the way.

I just installed my trans yesterday and had this problem. The slave cylinder contacts the clutch fingers and had enough strength to prevent you from inserting trans. Go to a hardware store and buy the same size and thread as your trand to bellhousing bolts only longer and use them (possibly some sort of spacer on the bolt) to pull the trand together. then somply swap the screws with the regular screws one at a time. Then again my clutch is fucked up and i cant drive cause something is wrong...
