    Congrats Jordan!!
Sounds like you did your research and the two of you stood the test of time. Apparently you guys are meant for each other.

IMO: If you could first ask her parents permission (without her knowing), then have her and her immediate family out to dinner. Meet the waiter in the back and tie the ring onto a bottle of champagne with a ribbon. After everyone's had their meal have the waiter bring out the champagne to you then get on one knee and propose in front of everyone. You would look like a hero.
Of course that all depends on how you and her relationship with her family is.

Let me know when the bachelor party is? Also you need to bring your lady with you to the next Pizza Port outing for a meet and greet.

    Good luck

Yeah, asking her parents is a good idea, most of them like that and the old school chivalrous thing to do. Most girls are suckers for that kind of thing anyway. These are all good ideas so far!

    Shit
Asking the parents is old school. I'd just let them know I was going to do it but that is probably why I'm not getting married, lol.

I think Im nervous about asking her parents because if I do that Its like how long do I have to ask before someone screws up and tells her cause if someone she knows, knows about what I want to due you know for sure she is going to finde out befoe I ask. Plus her parents live in PA. I flew out there and drove here and all her stuff accross the country to be with me so its not like I can just have here parents come to dinner with us. Plus her family has some things going on right now that I dont want to get in to. Thank you for all the ideas everyone. I think I know what I am going to do now thank you once again you all help out.

I was thinking of taking a bunch of pictures of us then taking a picture of each letter in will you marry me off of different signs and putting them all in a photo album? Then of course getting on one knee with the ring when she gets to the end of the book? what do you guys think?

I think I am still going to do this one

That is a good idea, something she will like, and something she can hold onto and show people. My fiance really liked that about what i did for her, she could keep it! Go get her!

    Here's how I did it.

I got a ring box that is disguised as a Christmas tree ornament. I asked her to come up to work to have lunch with me. I didn't know she was going to bring her sister. Anyway, when she got there I had a guy ready with a camera, but standing there pretending to be asking me advice on it and making it appear as though he was needing help.

I pointed out to her that there was one ornament on the tree that was different from the rest and that she should take a closer look at it as it was my contribution to the office's holiday cheer.

She up, pulled it off the tree and looked at it a little puzzled. When she saw there was a seam in it, she started trying to open it. I walked over to her and said here, let me help you with that as I grabbed it, dropped to a knee and opened it.

Photos: Sorry, they got out of order. But if you look toward the top of the tree, on the left side, there is a gold ball ornament. That was the ring box.
