I am 36 and my ears are bleeding. I think this could be a new form of torture. I have always been sensative to high pitched sounds.

I keep playing it as loud as I can just to see if any of the old farts I work with can hear it.

Yeah, i could totally hear it, and yeah, i also read the article about how it is supposed to be a teenage loitering repellent. They have boxes outside stores where kids hang out and deter business. This thing is going off, supposed to make kids leave, drives animals nuts, and a percentage of adults can't hear it. I heard about this on the radio this morning.

lol, you'd get that ringtone, and when it goes off other kids/ teens would complain What the fuck is that noise, and you'd get caught neways

I'm 34 and almost put a pencil in my ear when I heard it, I thought it would bug me less. My wife is 37 and couldn't hear shit, she thought I was bullshitting her until our local news reported it.

I can hear the motor in mine vibrate. Plus this has a little extra "cool factor" just because adults aren't supposed to hear it while the kids can. Kind of gives them a full of power feeling.

I am 41 and could not hear anything at all. Thinking it was a fake, I had two younger guys (mid 20's) at work listen to it and they couldn't rip the headphones off fast enough!! They claimed it was annoying as hell!

I do however have some hearing damage from my time in the Army, so I blame that.

FUCK! that sucked! that is piercing... it's so damn loud... i just did this in my office 2 people couldn't hear it and every one else was saying "what the hell is that?!"
