Help with the P300 code
I have a 96 LT1 that pulled up a P300 code (multiple cylinder random misfire) about two months ago. I looked into the problem and recently installed the new MSD distributor, new plug wires, and spark plugs. The car ran fine for about two weeks, but the check engine light came on again, and pulled the same P300 code. The car starts rough occasionally, is idling a little rough and I can hear a misfire in at least one cylinder. My only thoughts are that the ignition coil is bad or possibly even the PCM. Any thoughts would be helpful!

could be the coil, and they're fairly cheap... might try that before anything else.
