And that's RWHP - you can multiply by ~1.12 for M6 and ~1.15 for A4 cars to get an estimate for flywheel HP (BHP).

The regular models were rated at 305, and the WS6s were rated at 320. Neither of those numbers are accurate though. They're more like 330-340 stock (engine rating, not rear wheel horsepower), with a minimal difference between the regular models and WS6s.

The WS6 was rated at 320. I saw a 6-speed put down 307 on a dynojet, equivalent to about 345 HP. (I know some people work backwards form RWHP with a 15% adder to get flywheel power, which would give 355 or so, but my experience is that F-bodys and Vettes have more like 11.5% losses. Besides, back to back with this WS6 test was a stock 98 Vette 6-speed (345 HP rating) and it put down 308).

Figure 350 flywheel for any LS1, vette or F body. They all put down around 300 at the rear wheels, especially ignore the F body factory ratings.

Your gonna get all sorts of numbers for the "stock" HP of our cars. Just pick the one you like the most. LOL

My friend had a 98 Camaro SS that he sold for like 7500$ with 96K on it.
his friend who bought it, did SLP package, headers, exhaust, not sure if he got a tuner or not, ( probably ) but they put it on the dyno and it made 360 rwhp.
thats what attracted me into getting an LS1 now
