My TA went out for a little cruise yesterday after taking a 3 month nap. The roads are fairly clear here and the weather was absolutely perfect. Poured in a few ounces of "stabil" at the end of the cruise and put her to rest until March-April. Now I just need to get back to work on the GN and get it road worthy.

Went from this 19 yr old "nasty" carpet
too....
(Please ignore the ripples, I took this before I spent 2 hrs smoothing them out. What a bitch to do.)

Ran into some car guys last night who are in a car club. The one guy started asking me about my car then talked about wanting to race. He has an older NOVA and it sounded very quick. Sounds like I'm being set up lol.

uh-oh... painful shock flashback... is that the over-the-hump airhose for power lumbar/lateral balloons?! I came near giving self a heart attack one cold night in my office's garage trying to stretch that thing back onto its coupling after being off for a decade I guess! At least I made the security guys laugh on the closed circuit t.v. !

Lol. Right! Seriously though, I can beat a higher HP car from a dig if he doesn't hook like I do. He was talking about roll racing. I'm sure he's spraying. He didn't talk much about his car lol. Said just a mere $100 race.

So while I'm laid up I decided to finish up my doors with the heat & sound deadner.
I need to add a couple of more strips to the drivers door but I'll wait till I pull the panels off to change out for new material on the inserts when it comes in. I had to make sure I had enough to finish the passenger side so that is why it has more then the drivers side on the inside.
Music sounds so much better now, even at idle. I gotta wait till I can drive it again to see how much road noise it cut down.

Swapped the fan motor and hooked it all up again. Waited till it got hot enough and then...nothing....grrr..
Swapped the relays around and found fan 3 was dead. Looks like when the motor died it took the relay as well. Picked up one but had to bring the relay inside with me. Parts stores no longer can "get" the relays under radiator fan relays. I had to cross-reference it to the ac blower fan relay to get one.

Installed my new Borla cat back exhaust! Not quite finished and now wondering if I should replace the Y pipe too. That flat looking thing under the car looks like crap but don't know if there would be clearance issues with the SLP pipe and if I install lowering springs. Ah, decisions decisions
