I think I finally decided that the code is correct and the color is stealth gray metallic. I saw some other cars online that were listed as stealth gray and are the same color. No way I would've pegged that color to be named gray. I know it has a grayish look to it but I see more blue and in person it looks even more blue than the pics.

Our Caddie is "Thunder Gray" and actually has a dark greenish cast in it to me. I would definitely call your truck on the border between a gray and a blue though.

good one
I do see a gray tint to it but I see way more blue.
ordered tires today.....broke down and went with Toyo MT's again. I've just been so happy with these that it made sense to stay with them. Been the best set of mud tires I've ever owned. Wasn't quite as expensive as I was expecting.....$1150 for the set. I was expecting $1400. Should get them on the new rims and mounted up next week at some point.

Had to buy new tires this morning for the Durnago. Seems it's not enough, now have to get new brake pads, rotor and upper control arm.
"Why just replace a ball joint when they can make you replace the whole control arm..." Thank you Dodge Engineers....

Well it is nice to just replace the whole arm. I mean you have to take the arm off anyway depending on the type of press you have to press in the new ball joints. The only thing that is not nice is the price. 200+dollars for the arm and ball joint vs 15-40 bucks for just the ball joint.

I think I got lucky, cost for the upper was $50. Now looking at my receipt the pads cost more than the upper.

Now you have nice new bushings also. Though it's just so shocking to hear a Chrysler product needed a ball joint. Guess your's didn't have a recall for them

Reminds me that I have to replace the ball joints on my friend's Dakota. Ugh.
Will probably continue work on the MUTT motor tonight. I am trying to get my brother to order the bearings, rings and such so I can get this puppy back together.

Ahh yes the uppers are generally much cheaper than the lowers. Now I can see saving some time and money if you had a portable press that you can press the ball joint in and out with the control arm still in the truck. But all the presses I have access to require me to take the control arm off so I usually only use them for ATVs and what not as people want insane prices for A arms for ATVs.

Good news I believe it won't require an alignment. Looking at the upper it's fixed, nothing to adjust.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Been snowing and sleeting here a bit since I left the office. Winter keeps trying but has been failing miserably up our way. And I am not complaining.

Spent my day in the hospital again today but this time with my wife, she woke me this morning in extreme pain in her side. After 5 shots of pain meds she finally settled and after some testing they found kidney stones. I'm exhausted and stressed to the max I really need some time away.

Sorry man. Those are no joke. I've had just one episode before and it's something I never want to go through again.

Ouch! I went through a bout in 2014 and suffered for a few weeks before having a lithotripsy just before Christmas. Those sumbitches hurt like crazy and it is something I never want to experience again. Let us know how she makes out... I hurt just thinking about what she is going through.
