Went and looked at a 1911 player piano this afternoon. It is in real good condition and we liked it, but the color and style do not go with anything in our house.

Stupid cold here wind is wiping snow is blowing around it looks like the Tundra here. My work didn't call me not much you can do with the roads when it's this cold. Better to let them go just plow off the snow and they will actually freeze dry. Feeling nice and warm here at home so no complaints from me.

Jeep motor is all but stripped - just have the dipstick tube, block drain and cam bearings left in it.

You guys may never know how wonderful it feels to be able to finally fart.
My God it almost brought a tear of joy to my eye. Had an operation on Thursday and they fill the belly full of air so they can maneuver better. Well it's still trapped inside and it can take up to a week or 2 to absorb it and expel it out by burping or farting. This morning I had my first fart and I'm damn proud of it. It also means I didn't shit my drawers too.....
I know, I know

since we're talking farts anyhow........here's another instance where being a dick in everyday life bites you in the ass. Pickle is 3 now and in the last several weeks he's found farts extremely amusing. I've seen him work one up and then turn red in the face pushing it out. I can't wait until he shits his pants the first time but that may be a ways off because at 3 the shit/fart separator is pretty much brand new and works flawlessly. He'll learn that lesson at some point though. Anyhow.....his latest "trick" is when he feels a fart coming he runs to the person closest to him (usually his mom) and puts his ass right against her and farts....then he giggles his little ass off. Here's where being the dick of the household really goes against you. I'm the one that's catching hell for teaching him to do that.......I've never once done that and certainly haven't taught him how to do it. No matter how much I argue the case though no one here believes that I didn't teach him that. My money is on Zach and I think Zach knows this and is letting me take the fall for it. Pickle hasn't learned how to tell on people yet really short of just screaming until me or his mom tell whoever it is messing with him to stop. At some point though he's going to start talking and the first question I ask is where he learned that trick. Zach better hope like hell Pickle don't throw him under the bus because there's going to be some major payback for him letting me take the fall and hear shit from his mom about it. Pickle tried the ass on me and farting thing once.....he may be the only 3 year old on the planet that knows what a hip check is but he definitely knows what it is because he hasn't tried it since. I sent him sliding across the kitchen floor.

no school for the 2nd day in a row here.........I'm gonna end up killing one of these damn kids if they don't go back to school. At least today the temps are gonna be mid to upper 30's so they can go out and roll around in the snow for awhile. We'll get the quad out and hook the sled to it. Tire/wheel shopping for the truck today too. Already know which wheel I want and I'm at 99% on the tire......just have to find the best deal now.

Crappy day here. A few school closures, but mostly just 2 hour delays. Thankfully, I am in the office all day so no worries for me. Dawn still has to make her 35 mile commute though so the Suburban will be seeing some action.
