amazon is quickly approaching my "do not shop at" list. We've had some terrible luck with them since christmas. First....they opened a shop in Ohio evidently because now we get charged tax on everything which pisses me off. Secondly....everything we've ordered since xmas is taking forever to get here. My son ordered a new airsoft gun with a gift card he got....going on day 8 since I got the shipped confirmation email and today got another email saying transportation issues have delayed shipping even further. I ordered a new router, cable modem, and ipod cover for my daughter 4 days ago that hasn't even shipped yet. Gonna be tough for me to order from them for a while.....wish I would've just ordered all that shit from ebay or newegg.

For the past year or so I have been using a friends amazon prime account. Shhh, don't tell. 2 day free shipping on everything. And the 2 day shipping still worked 4 days before Christmas. I ordered a gift on the weekend before the week of Christmas and it was here on Tuesday the 22nd.

we started doing that a few years ago....she got burned and I swear it was through Target's online ordering because at the time that's the only place she had ordered from....next thing you know people in fucking Peru or somewhere were charging shit to our account. Fortunately we were protected and caught it within hours of when they were using it so we got out of that lucky. She had it happen last year on our internet/travel card again but we caught it before anyone charged anything....there was a $1 charge from paypal and she doesn't have a paypal account. Someone was pinging the card to make sure it was valid.

big fan of prime and had it until they added the movie bullshit in there and started charging more. I've used amazon a lot over the years with zero issues and always considered them to have their shit together. The last couple of weeks though we've had nothing but issues it seems like. Another thing is them being in Ohio now and dinging me for tax on everything. Why pay taxes using them when I can get the shit off ebay or newegg and not spend the $20 in taxes? I sent them an email bitching this morning and got a reply back in just a few minutes. They upgraded shipping to 2 day which helps I guess but it still means I'll have waited a week to get my shit. I've bought and sold a lot of stuff on the web. It should never take a week to get your shit these days.

Order something from Summit and because it's a small low $$ item they sent it Fedex which will drop it in the Post Office and add another 3 days of shipping to my order.

If it's not enough to cover free shipping and they send it all the way through FEDex or UPS it always goes this way.

We have a dyson right now that gets the job done. Shark's are supposed to be pretty damn good. I've never used one. Wish they still made them like they used to. The older vacuums would pick up ball bearings.
