OMG Really?
Orion will laugh at this...
After a viral video surfaced last week that caught a Pinellas County employee alerting a group of people that the smell and smoke of their cooking had resulted in a neighbor’s complaint, the fate of barbecue in Florida was lamented by many.
The video, which amassed more than four million views on Facebook, captured a Pinellas County Air Quality environmental specialist alerting a group of people that he is responding to a complaint from a neighbor that the smoke and smell of their barbecue has crossed their property line — much to the objections of those filming the video.

Maybe the neighbors were Muslims and they were afraid they might accidentally ingest some pig from the fumes?
If so, Loretta Lynch and the Justice Dept will take care of this problem pronto.

After reading some of the local news stories on this it seems the complaint was from a tree huger neighbor a few doors down.

It's a woman.
Also the office that handles those type of complaints said they weren't issue a citation, it was more like a how to guide to prevent smoke leaving your area.

A lot of stupid people jumped the gun on this thinking BBQ smells were banned, which isn't the case at all if you look at the law in that county. In that specific instance, I'm guessing the neighbor was being somewhat of an asshole, but so was the guy doing the smoking. He was operating commercial smoking equipment at his private residence, which is against the law, understandably. There were also apparently 14 other instances where this guy was contacted about this, but only one time was he issued a citation for it. Fuck that guy too, and all the idiots saying the gubmint is trying to take away their barbeque rights

So, I guess the guy going to have to build a 50-75 ft. chimney in his back yard so the people can't smell his BBQ. I wonder how everybody going to will feel about that?

I'm sure that would be against the building code, just like him running commercial smoking equipment on his property is against the city code. In either case he deserves a citation. And he wont win a battle to have the law changed either. Most people like the smell of BBQ, but they wouldn't want to be inundated by it constantly by commercial equipment that large.

I'm guessing when you hit "new posts" you don't see any of the aag posts or something because I never knew any of these posts were here.
Anyhow.....saw that video. My first reaction was that's the dumbest shit ever but then I thought about it. I wonder what those guys were actually doing back there because they're waaaay too sober to have been cooking BBQ. I know if someone showed up in my driveway after I've been doing some bbq the camera would've caught a big drunken fat guy slurring and then beating someone's ass.....after I sat my beer down of course.

also.....the "new posts" link doesn't include aag posts so that's why I haven't replied to any posts in months. I just figured you guys were all busy with your boyfriends. That means if I get bored here in the near future don't be surprised to see some old posts getting bumped.
I gotta see if there's any posts my always 100% correct opinions are needed in.
