I think this doohicky was a problem......
It's nice that family gets exactly what you tell them for your B-day. My niece gave me these, MSD Super Conductors for Trucks. Makes it a hell of a lot easier to get #8 and they bend enough to get away from the exhaust tubes.:
I also cleaned up some 5.3 coils my son got me and threw them on as well. Once it's retuned I'll get the full benefits.
Also added 3 layers of weatherstrip to the air lid so the clamps will hold down now.
Didn't get to wire harness for the fuel pump because it's dropping lightning outside my house.

The speaker on my drivers side wall rattles awfully. This will be something I will need to tend to. I often use the system when cruising in 6th gear when I can't hear the engine.
I pressure washed mine down and wiped dry with a plush micro fiber. It got filthy and rained on a few times this weekend. Normally I would wash it properly but i'm in a bad mood tonight and just wanted to get done.2000 Trans Am WS.6 M6

Black/ Silver- 98 TA WS6/ 01 C5 Corvette
What did you do with your Trans Am today?
Thinking about getting some optic armor windows and windshield for the TA since where I live in TN there is no inspection of any sort lol. The stuff is stronger and lighter than glass so I could loose some serious weight off the TA.

Where did you find the pump thingy for the gear oil?
-
07-20-2015, 05:03 PM #4252
I got it a few years back, maybe Advanced Auto?
I came with 2 hoses, one for quarts and one for gallons! The pump is threaded to fit both also! I still get gear oil down my arms all the way to my pits!☺️
It's pretty handy! I submerge my other Toy and do a lot of gear oil changes!😝

I'll have to keep an eye out for that. Suction gun works great, but I have to unscrew the top and pour the gear oil into the canister before injecting it.

Your way sounds easier! I think I gave up counting how many pumps a quart takes...80 or so? Laying on my side...well lubricated arm pits...

I have the very same pump. Bought it 5+ years ago also. It has to be pepboys or napa. Pretty much the only places I buy my stuff. That pump is awesome. Filling rear end fluid is a breeze.

07-21-2015, 07:10 AM #4257Since I am home waiting on an a/c repairman to come fix my home a/c
I went out in the garage and swapped out my rear springs for some bmr lowering springs, pretty easy job on the rear.

I wish I could lower mine, but the roads around here would be VERY unforgiving! I'd like to "tighten" things up a bit though! Maybe next year?😜
I got home from a 9.5hr work day! Got home and went for a ride! Did a burnout, hit 100mph, cruised home at 60, opened b-day presents, showered, now dinner and cake! So far a pretty good day!😊

I want to lower mine, bu only a hair. Not a full 1.5" or anything crazy. The idea of getting it onto a trailer with ease sounds nice. Not that I have a trailer but someday would be nice. The Strano springs sound like my winner, good firmness and still comfy, not a drastic drop.
Yesterday evening I took these.
