well when i say battered i put lightly. She has a dented quarter panel by the door jamb on the passenger side causing a crack in the door itself. There's various marks of paint missing on that side plus some on the hood. The real kicker is the engine blew a head gasket and the fluids mixed caking everything in snot. I couldnt resist the urge to buy the car at the time Ive wanted a bird for years.

Welcome to the site, Austin. Sorry to hear about the issues you've had. A blown head gasket and a few dents aren't the end of the world... You've always wanted a Firebird, and now you have one
Now the fun begins
Oh, and I like Purple

It's all very fixable, so sounds like you have yourself a good project. Any plans for upgrades on the engine or keeping it stock when you make the repairs?

thanks guys the purple was the selling point for me. currently i have no plans to build up the engine. I plan on finding a engine from a yard and swapping it out. i just want to be able to drive her before i go to college next month.

To be honest, these cars are quite impressive right out of the box. They come stock with a nice amount of 'giddy-up' for a daily driver

Congrats on the purchase and thank you for saving it rather than parting it out. I hate hearing about these cars being junked or parted out over such small details or 'low value to the cost of fixing'. An enthusiast should always repair and save vs profit.
x2! Mine is a stock WS6 6spd, plenty of power for me, more is always welcomed but power aside I just love cruising with the car.
