07 Chevy Corvette- 2004 Pontiac GTO
With hp tuner pro. Is it 1 credit per car each time you tune the car or can you tune that car as many times as you want. I was thinking about getting it. Dont know how many credit i would need. I have a gto, 07 vette and an 05 escalade. I am going to be purchasing a trans am this winter. So do i need 4 credit or would i need more.

you will need 8 total credits to tune all 4 as those are all 2 credits each......once you marry their vins to the cable you can flash those cars as many times as you want. Since your cable comes with 8 credits you won't need to buy any more credits unless you add vehicles beyond the 4 you have listed.

Black- Anything LS1's - LS6's
Your have posted some good info in this thread but there are so many new tuners here that need to know its not wise to make some changes in the PCM without the use of a WideBand. Take PE tables for instance...If the MAF Is not calibrated after say a CAI, and you go to simply try to rape the PE table with math, and just because the math is commanding a 13.0 AFR...you could actually be running 13.5 -14 AFR at WOT and not know it until its too late. There is a certain method to this tuning madness so I advise the new tuners to take your time and do a lot of research before jumping in and changing values. I think for the sake of newbies, maybe you should split up your info between basic tune mods and advanced. That is just a suggestion.
Any Tulsa Oklahoma area new tuners can just PM me for 1 on 1 help anytime. I'm like Mrr23, I do it because I'm an LSx gear head, not for money.

Haven't really touched hptuners since I sold the formula back in 2007.
I do have a 2000 corvette now
So I might start back up.

i am looking for a tuner, the only requirement is i want to have the ability to block codes so i can smog the car without fixing the a.i.r. pump. ive found one made by Jet Performance, looks great, but im nervous about tuning without having some preset starting point. any ideas??? its a budget project and will not be modded, aside from the slp airbox.

^^ This. In a addition to adjusting the error reporting codes, he will tweak your tables and other settings. I have run a Frost mail order tune in our car for years.
