Black / White- '00 T/A M6/'19 Hemi Truck
yea...notice I didnt say anything about salt water haha I have to be careful with fresh water because of the game wardens...but salt water is an easy trick. We leave the boat ramp, go out about 10-15 miles to some GPS points, catch 20 or 30 fish and fill up the boat, bring them back in to my buddies condo on the inlet, go back out with an empty boat and repeat it for a few days haha then we take the boat back to the boat ramp with an empty tank and they check the boat and nothing is in it

What does WI have that no other state does? I'm curious to know what is exclusive to that state that you can't do anywhere else in the US.
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

I'm not saying anything bad about it. I frequented there regularly when I was in engineering with my last employer as there was a fabrication shop up there we worked closely with. Kohler was another cool facility/community. I would stop at the Cheese Castle on my way home and get some beer I liked and other things. I've also been to the stadium to watch a Bears/Packers game. It was my first NFL game I went to actually. January game so we froze our asses off. Awesome time though. Can't say I saw a definitive reason as to why I'd want to retire there though. Might give me some good reasons to go back though at some point.

Well I suppose you can do those things in other states but not in the same fashion on the same scale. How about the largest music festival in the world? FACT. Milwaukee is the city of festivals. Or the largest waterpark in America?FACT. Or the largest collection of theme/water parks in the world known as the Wisconsin Dells? FACT. Then there is our nature which we spends a lot of time and money maintaining as a state. We have more lakes than the land of lakes MN, actually the most lakes out of any state other than Alaska. FACT. Millions of acres of National, state, county forest land. To name just a few things. As far as sports go I don't think anyone doubts our fans. Not just in football but all of our professional teams are well supported by what most considered to be small communities. Lambeau field has been sold out for decades... every single game. FACT. The waiting list for season ticket holders is decades long. People put their childrens names on the waiting list when they are born. As I said though I was just ripping on what I thought was an IL resident. Didn't want it to turn into a real discussion on a NFL thread.

Any state parks you recommend to camp at? I could care less about water parks. Fishing, yes.
I've never been far enough North to enjoy any wilderness. Assuming that's where you're talking about.
Milwaukee Music Fest was pretty awesome.

WI Dells is a lot more than just water parks. Those are just what it's known for the most. There are some very beautiful rock formations, rivers, it is in the forest lands as well. River tours, duck rides which are boats that were used in WWII that also drive on the roads like buses, jet boats, offroad tours, shopping, night life. All kinds of thngs just so you know.
As for state park campgrounds they are usually not my favorites. I usually stay in camp grounds close to the state parks and then take the 5-10 minute drive to the actual state park. Less rules/rangers driving around watching you. I can recommend you some campgrounds but they won't be state park ones. If you are looking for something close I always have fun at Bong State Recreational area and that is in Kenosha. They have hunting, fishing, camping, ATV/Dir bike tracks, trails, biking etc. I camp in the dells a couple times a year but what I really like is going to the nicolet national forest, buying a recreational permit and camping in very secluded spots. I camp there even in cold weather. Sometimes for hunting.
Yes most of the forest land is ouside of south eastern WI. You go out west or north or northwest. As a majority of residents live in the south eastern corner of the state.

I'm only 1.5 hrs from Kenosha. We have a plant there also. Been there a handful of times. Now that I think about it, I've spent a lot of time in WI lol.
