Changed the oil in the Suburban. Going for the warm up ride, I stopped at the building and found the left front tire on the Regal flat. Pulled the wheel and brought it back to the garage for a look see. Inside bead had two very slow leaks, so I dismounted the tire, cleaned it all up and put it back on with a touch of bead sealer.

Lots of life in those! A guy I work with brought his wife's Subaru over a couple of weeks ago and her rear brakes looked even worse. She complained they were making some noise, but by the time she remembered to tell him they had been "making some noise" for about 2 months.
Had an '11 Ford F-150 on the lift tonight -- not sure what they call their cab sizes, but it was the full four door. Made it into the lift bay by 2" with the nose just about touching my work bench. We installed blocks and Bilsteins and raised it up just about 1-3/4" in the ass. Instructions said that trucks with a two-piece drive shaft may need the carrier bearing shimmed down (it is a 2 pc), but no specifics. We test drove it and there are no noises or harmonics. Thoughts?
Get to do the fronts sometime in the next few weeks - similar to the F-body setup so have to pull the whole assembly and then compress the spring.

After I shut down and cleaned up from the Ford project, a Dodge with a 4.7 rolled in with a "hot smell". Turns out the driver side rocker cover was weeping oil onto the exhaust, so we snugged things up a bit and we'll see what happens. Not sure if the cover can be pulled without yanking the brake booster and a ton of other junk.
