    that has everything to do with it being a mid engine car and where the air intake is on it.

    the intake of the motor is exposed in the back of the car. If the rear of the car was submerged it shouldnt take too long for it to flood with water. The rear body panels are molded around the top of the motor so you can see it when standing behind the car. It looks pretty cool actually...
