I moved your post to a new thread in our Classic Muscle section. Should be a fairly straighforward project - what engine is coming out?

When you say SBC swap the first thing that pops in my head is the 1st generation small block chevy.
If that's the case, dropping one in a 93 camaro is a piece of cake since they came from the factory with a V8 that was by all intensive purposes based off the 1st generation small block.
The gen II is nothing more than a reverse coolant flow cylinder head, but the head design itself was based off the vortec heads from 1996. The shortblock itself, although called a gen II LT1, is nothing more than a 1st generation short block with a roller cam. All the brackets, motor mounts, oil pans, headers, are all in the same locations. These engines are extremely easy and swap friendly to drop into any retro application.
