Wheel & Tire Combo
I was thinking of getting the Chrome Z06 wheels from OE wheels in the 18x10.5 for the rears and the 18X8.5 for the front. I know they will fit correctly my question is this
What size tires should I get for the front and rears to get closest to stock ride height? I don't want it to look like it has a lift kit
THANKS

To keep the same size without messing with your sensors and causing the abs to malfunction you want a 275/35/18 up front and a between a 295/35/18 or 305/35/18 in the back. You could go a little narrower up front since its a 8.5 instead of a 9.5 width wheel.

thanks now to decide, I have to buy tires this spring to pass inspection anyway. I thought it was a good time to get some new wheels. Cant make up my mind between the chrome Z06 and the ZR1 with the black and machined lip

To me, black with machined lip looks killer on a black car. Breaks up the black.

I have black wheels with polished lips on my car also. My car is pewter instead of black but on some cars I think it looks alot better then polished aluminum or chrome. Black cars can go either way. The only thing I dont like on black cars is solid black wheels. They just get lost when there is nothing to break them up from the car.

I would do a 9inch front wheel if it were me...275's up front look good and feel good. I am going to go against the grain and say go with a full chrome or polished wheel...I had black with a polished lip on my car and it doesnt look anywhere as good as it does now...the black wheels' were really popular for a while but everybody has them now so I say go with what everybody doesnt have.

I ordered my wheels today from Lance at OEWheels.com. Great guy, helped me get a set of rims that where out of stock and gave me a smoking deal on them. Can't wait to get them on. If you ever deal with OEWheels talk to Lance... great customer service. Now just to order some tires.
Will 265/35/18 fit on the front of my car with no rubbing issues? I'm not lowered at all?1998 Trans am Ws6, T56 : SLP Lid, K&N Air Filter, Smooth Bellows, Granatelli air foil, LS6 Intake, SLP Harmonic Balancer pulley, QTP 1 3/4" headers and Y-pipe, LS7 Clutch & flywheel, Hurst Billet Pro shifter,Tick Master Cylinder, UMI LCA relocation kit, UMI LCA, UMI Panhard Bar, Tuned by Frost

265s should work as long as you run a 35 series tire.

I have 295/35/18s on all 4 corners. Bolted up with no issues on 18x10.5s. 265s will fit with no issues.
