Thinking of attending the daymond john academy.
http://daymondjohnacademy.com/
For those who don't know who daymond john is he started FUBU clothing line and is one of the "sharks" on shark tank. It is stated that he turned $40 into a six billion dollar empire.
I went to the free 2hour seminar and it was very informative today I actually learned alot, the real course is three days and cost $1500, it does seem to be a wealth of information for business owners.
You guys have any experience with this academy or any similar ones?
While reading rich dad poor day Robert Kioysaki mentioned he learned alot of his business secrets from attending several semnairs during his younger years.........
I would like some feed back on this guys.

I've been to several seminars and educational learning tools in my life. Some better than others. Some a lot more money than others. Based on my experiences, I'd never pay out of my own pocket to attend. I've always had work pay my way. IMO, there are a plethora of books out there you can buy, read and learn just as much if not more for a fraction of the cost. Audio books are great for long car rides also. You're paying for the name in my opinion. I'm sure you'll learn stuff, but you'll also forget most of what you're told and the problem with classes like this is once you're done, that's it. There's nothing to refer to.
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

I went to EFI school. Worth every penny imo.
Never been to a business seminar or anything like that... but so long as it is isn't a scam and you have the coin to spare, no harm in learning something new.

I want to turn 40$ into a 6 billion dollar empire. A week or two back I turned 200$ into nothing at the casino. That's kind of the same thing, right? /facepalm/

He's a smart business guy. I think I'd go for some books over 1500. Then again I'm cheap when it comes to spending money on myself
