Black & Blue- '02 WS.6 / '07 Suburban
Had a guest in the garage tonight. Kevin Morgan brought over his '81 Trans Am with an '02 LS1 transplant for some diagnostic work. The engine had a terrible stumble somewhere above 2,000 rpm. Checked for codes, checked fuel pressure, and then failed the MAF. As soon as we unplugged the MAF the stumble disappeared. We went for a ride and the engine ran just fine.
We pulled the MAF and it is intact (screen and blade are untouched), so we cleaned and reinstalled it. The stumble immediately came back. Trying to determine if it has the correct MAF. I was going to plug in HP Tuners and use the Scanner, but somehow our laptop lost the MPVI drivers and I need to find and reload them. We're going to make another attempt on Tuesday.

Monday already. The weekend went pretty darn fast.
Dan and Zap - Tuesday is the last Troy cruise in. We plan on being there - Kevin is supposed to meet us so I can try again to connect to his car with my scanner. I finally got the drivers reinstalled last night, no clue what happened... but I'll blame Sammie.

cyl head dropped off at the machine shop. I should have it back by 5pm.
I swear having a good relationship with a shop has it's perks. He tells a customer that came in after me that his will be 2-3 days.
