Last weekend, installed Double Din Pioneer touchscreen DVD player, parking brake bypass, AXXESS universal steering wheel control interface, double din bezel. Turned out great, but two things were a PITA, soldering inside the dash, and figuring out the steering wheel interface. I tried the instructions for a long while, then just starting fu#%ing around with it, and voila!, it worked. I also wired in a toggle and mounted it right next/under the parking brake handle area on the pass side. I wired it to the illumination wire. That way, if I can not see the screen at night, I can bypass the automatic illumination, and get full bright daytime screen.
Next is the interior LEDs. I ordered them, and they are here, it just might be a while til I get them in. Also, ready to order a HUD unit, and start playing with it. I want to wire it in, not just use the OBDII connector. I also want to countersink it in the dash, and cover it with some smoked plexiglas.

Wow. It shouldn't take that long hopefully for me when I get around to grinding the calipers. I am just going to smooth all the high ridges out and I should be good. The brake line clip on the passenger side for me was a pain to get on.Welcome to the club btw CTS-V calipers and z06 rotors are awesome.

Wife was gone all day so I finally had time to do the oil change, brake flush, and anti freeze flush. Then gave the TA a bath and a ride around the neighborhood.

Removed my front bumper for more space for engine removal. How the heck do you get those 3 plastic anchors on the bottom off? At the moment it is off minus those. I tried a socket, prying with a flathead, and vise grips but none of those worked.

The ones with the center pins? I used my panel tool, which is basically a flat shoe with a slot cut in it. You can also do it with two flat blade screwdrivers. Pop the pin up and the fastener will come right out.

Yeah the 3 pins. Oh I think I may actually have something like that actually. I'll give that a try.

that's what I did.
And removing the nose piece and the foam bumper made it much easier for me.
