CTSV is too expensive for me. I really dont know much about th GM sportscars. Only that anything with LS1 or better is a monster from a roll. The reason i say the gto is because its got the ls2 in it. If the new camaro was out then thats what i would get. Is a camaro ss faster than the ls2 gto? Stock vs stock? I currently have the evo8 with 340whp. Its fast but only from a deadstop. From a roll its still fast but lacks top end power. I mostly do racing from a roll. So i dont need all the extra features the evo has to offer.

Both the SS and the GTO are speed limited. The GTO is limited to 163mph.

what do you mean by fast??? If you have a 340 awhp evo you are gonna pull any stock ls1 car or the ls2 gto.

I heard somewhere around here that of the f-bodies the auto with 3.23s was the best. It has high enough gears to get decent top speed, but they are low enough to let it pull that high Heresay to me though

that is what mine is with a 3,000 stall and a Cam, it really pulls at the top and does not loose an edge at all, there is plenty left at 140 and wants to keep pulling

I had a 94 auto Z and it only had an intake and aftermarket exhaust work and I had it doing 154 and it was still climbing slowly.........fwiw

GTO , Quality car, Def not rice.

not rice, they are nice but look too much like a Grand Prix.........I prefer the F-bodies for looks.
