Arctic White- 98 Z-28
Ideas on what sedan to purchase...
I am keeping my 98 Z28, but my wife wants a four door sedan to replace her 2003 Accord 2 door. Anyone have anything they like or don't like? We're looking for a 2008-2011 four door that is around $25k or under. I would also like it to be under 50,000 miles. I have heard nice things about the 2009 Infiniti G37 sedan but I have not had a chance to drive one. Any other recommendations?

loved my g8gt with sport package.
Only problem is mod bug on those cars. Getting harder to find em unmolested.
I swore against fed if I could help it otherwise I would eyeball the new fusion or taurus

Good suggestions in the thread. Should be able to find a G8 with under 50k miles for 25 or less. CTSV would also be fun. A BMW 335i is probably barely in your price range, but if you looked a bit you could probably find one. I'd take any of those over a G37 if fun to drive is near the top of the list.

2012 and up Camry V6.
Rock solid reliability.great fuel economy, and a low 14 second 1/4 mile. Some have hit high 13's. Low insurance rates are nice too.
It also will have all the latest techno-wizardry with top notch phone/ipod integration.

Thanks for the ideas...I have looked in to a G8, but like you guys stated, it's hard to find one that is unmolested. The guy at the Napa auto parts has one and loves it. My wife always wanted a BMW (shocking), so maybe I'll see if I can find one at the top of our price range, like 5.0 suggests.

You can def find a 08-2010 BMW for 25k. They have lower models than the 335, but the 335 is a turbo 6 cylinder which is fun. I found a 07 m5 for 23k with 90k miles on it the other day. v10 FTW. That was a 80,000+ car new so I am sure you can find some 3 series and even 5 series cars for 25k. Only thing that sucks is repair costs. BMWs do have issues and parts are not cheap.

You might consider the charger RT or SRT as well. They are fun cars.

I like the new Fusion and Taurus. The Charger R/T comes in AWD for winter months. If BMW's weren't more money to maintain versus domestic, I'd be looking into BMW for sure. But that depends on how long you keep cars, we usually hold onto to them for 5+ years. Those are my top 3.
When it's my girl's turn to get a new ride it will most likely be a Fusion or Charger. The size of the Charger is nice, but she's into the looks of the Fusion.

How about the camrys of subaru? A 2009 legacy GT. Those can be had for under 25k with low miles, you can probably get the spec b for 25k with lower miles if you want navigation and the sti drivetrain. I loved mine, not the roomiest car in the world but sporty and drives very nice. Also subaru AWD is pretty unbeatable in the snow.

Can't do the Subie or Toyota.
Combining performance with refinement and reliability are not allowed on an Fbody board.
I keed, I keed.
