Well I've made up my mind about what I want. I'm going with an 02 or 03 Z06. I've learned alot just reading the posts on www.corvetteforum.com So much you can do as far as mods. No real problems to speak of. With LG Motorsports right down the street, I feel I can do anything. Anything on my timeline too. Electron Blue is what I'll be looking for. Now I gotta get my fundage together and find me a good deal! I'll post pics when I get married to one. Thanks for the info issues02zo6 and jking.

I own a 05 C6 Z51 6spm,with Kooks L.T.'s/X-pipe/Hi-flow cats/Calloway Double D exhaust,Halltech SSM stinger and I LOVE my car!! having owned a 69 vette,a 72 vette, 84 z-28 (and my share of german/jap cars)300 twin turbo,911 targa,Bmw 320i I gotta say I'm reallysatisfied with my 05 C6.Refined,yes (but I still feel every bump in the road,,,Z51 package) Torque!!abosoulutly,H.P. of course and as you see ,mods easily!!If you want to compare a C6 to a Z06 try comparing a 2002/2004 Z06 to a NEW 2006 Z06 two completely differant cars!!!

I appreciate your view. However, you cannot compare 06 Z06 to 02-04 Z06's. It is more reasonable to campare 02-04 Z06's to the C6. Price and performance are much in common. My thought for creating this thread were entirely based on which car will give me more for the buck. I know little about modding the C6 and some about the 02-04 Z06 now. I'm glad you shared your mods here and an opinion of your C6. I really like the new design I just didn't know what a guy could do yet as far as modding them.

I have an 05 C6 with the mods listed below. It is the best car I have ever driven even though it cost $50K. It is much better than my 02 Camaro SS with mods.

C6 375/rwhp 371/rwtq 12.7@114 Only ran one time. Street tires
SS 384/rwhp 381/rwtq 13.3@109 Drag Radials

Cool. Seems like a nice setup on the C6. I haven't found anybody dissatisfied with their C6 yet.

I just bought mine yesterday, Yellow with Black interior, Totally F'ing Sweet
I can not get enough of this thing it is a blast to drive and gets alot of looks

I can't wait to throw some mods at it.

LS1 members are dropping by the day thanks to the affordability of these LS6's :-( its ok though hell i'd drop my camaro anyday for a Z06 4th-6th gen, its just id have trouble getting over the loss. I see myself at age 36 with a nice new 2023 Camaro SS for the drives to work and a 2023 Z06 Corvette for the weekends. Fuck kids, I'd take f-body babies over real babies any day.

Well I need to update my situation. I fell for a SS vert M6 for sale locally. The price was right and the better half wanted a vert. I guess I'm not corvette material just yet. Maybe when I turn 40.

Ok, maybe next year then. I did pay cash for the vert so it'll take till next year to put away enough to put down on a vette again. That is if I don't get carried away with modding the vert. At your age I'd say your ahead of the game.
