    Back to stallin out again

Thought i had cleared up this problem by cleaning my MAF but looks like I was wrong. I had the AC pumpin today and i stalled approaching a red light. now when i look back it would happen when the heat was on full blast too. I was told by a guy around my way it could be the tune on my car and that the air ratios and what not that my brain cant process right is off. I dont get how it could be the tune tho as i was tuned about 2 years ago and the only thing i have changed on the car is i went from a K&N CAI to a Varraram. These phantom problems are killin me

did this start right after the vararam swap? What you're describing does sound like an idle airflow issue but your mods aren't something that would need a ton of tuning for. Who tuned your car the first time? Have you checked for a vacuum leak? Like I say.....it does sound like an airflow problem but your mods don't really automatically make me think it's a tuning problem. Normally when you have an idle airflow issue it's because of a cam. I would probably start by making sure there's no air getting in after the maf. Can you swap the old K&N back on just to test or did you sell it? The vararam is better but I just can't see it effecting it that much. The maf should catch that anyhow & make up for it.

I put the varraram in not about 2 summers ago and this started in the winter. i did get into a fender bender in november and needed to have the bumper and hood replaced. Think some how this could be the cause? I have taken off the varram since then to clean it and make sure it was on good. Andrew at CSP in PA tuned me

What side was hit, may I ask? Maybe something was left loose or maybe the shock caused some damage to the PCM?

Front bumper took the damage the passenger side grill was craked with a crack shooting down from it on the bumper and the hood got pushed up a bit.

I am also tempted to say it's a tune issue. Maybe the IAT sensor is too sensitive with the Vararam?

I think Vette Doctors is in NYC. Can't remember if in NYC or in LI. There is also Stage 1 Auto over here in Pompton Lakes, NJ and Washington Garage in Bergenfield, NJ. Both Stage 1 and Washington Garage are SLP licensed dealers. You also have East Coast Supercharging down by Great Adventure.
