No word from her since her and her buddy made amends. Shocker. I had a birthday last Thursday. She texted me the day before and the day after, but no happy birthday. Haha. Pretty funny stuff.
In fact, I called this whole thing the day she contacted me - to a tee. Like I always do. It's pretty fucking amazing how well I know her. Hell, I think I know her better than she knows herself.
I am willing to bet $1,000 that she will make an excuse as to why she didn't come visit my mom like she said she would. Strep throat, too busy with new promotion, car broke down....any takers?
That's if either of us ever hear from her again
It's quite comical, really. She thinks she's a mastermind at her childish games - sure does seem like she has him fooled though. Poor guy. I feel sorry for him. She's going to destroy his heart and he doesn't even know it.
One thing is certain - you cannot fall in love with someone when your heart is still with someone else

You'd be surprised how many guys are like that though. They are so whipped and they don't even know.

Could be. Doesn't seem like it though. Of course, a lot of things in life aren't what they seem...
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

I'm not going to say anything bad about the guy. After all, if she's with him, he must be an awesome man....

He's with another girl already so I guess you were right. You certainly can't love someone and move on so quickly, that's for sure.
She's back on her dating site. Seen her online.
Is what it is. One thing is certain - she doesn't want to be with me. Oh well. Life goes on.

Question for ya Jon. How do you know she's back on her dating site? Are you getting online on the same site and seeing her online?

Same site, yes. I log in ever so often to see what is new lol. When you log in and do a search it shows all the people who were online last, first. Her profile just happened to pop up. First time I've seen her in a long time...which tells me it's over for the time being. Was the same way when she dated me. She left the site for a good while we were together.

So, with that, wouldn't it stand to reason since you can see when she's online or been online on the site, that she probably can and does the same with regards to you?

Because I don't like getting 100 messages a day from women I'm not interested in.

Anyway, thanks for the advice everyone. I'm done beating a dead horse lol. This shit used to bother me but it doesn't anymore.
She was an amazing woman at one point when we were together and had an awesome personality. I really hope she finds happiness with someone, whoever it may be with. I truly want that for her.
I just hope she knows that I love her. I told her once. She never returned the favor though. I tried letting go a few times now...and she always comes back to me. I don't think she'll ever have the courage to tell me how she really feels about me. I guess she's scared. We'll probably never see one another again. Pretty unfortunate, really. Spending time with her when we dated was the best experience of my entire life...and I've been with quite a few women over the years.
Let's just leave it at that - RIP thread.
