Chrs1313 Ram Air post PICS if you got em!
I wanted to know if anyone here is running the Chrs1313 Ram Air w/ AC on their WS.6? Can you please post pics of your set-up?
And can you tell me if you needed to cut or fit it somehow?
Thanx all.

According to them, you have to remove the AC condenser, so that answers your question on the AC.

Silver- 1999 Trans-Am, 2012 Sonic
if you have a true WS6 then you already have Ram Air! You are already bringing in cool air through your hood to your air box, not hot air from the road surface up past the hot radiator. These set ups are in my opinion for the Camaro, and the non ws6 cars that already get the air up through there already. I looked at these before until deciding to go with a Super Hawk hood and ws6 lower air box
99 Trans Am, SLP Lid, Blackwing filter, smooth bellow, Ported TB, LS6 intake, Ws6 lower ram air box, OBX LT's, Magna Flow cat back, LS7 clutch, Tick MC, Hurst Shifter, Frost Tune, UMI SFC,LAC, STB, PB, Torq Arm, Super Hawk hood, Torq Thrust II, Kee Audio.
Strange S60 4:10's, D&S Rotors, S/S Brake Lines.
Nitto NT05R Track Tire's, 12.7 @ 108 / 1.82 60'
Wish list.

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A, 00 FBVert, 78T/A
I call these things "the making of a hydrolock motor"
If you never get caught out in a rain storm and avoid all puddles then this may be the thing for you.
But $250 for a +2mph gain (from their site)............I can spent that on something else and get much more for the money.

I've actually been considering this for my T/A. I don't take the car in the rain, and I feel that I am limiting my air intake for my 427 by just using the stock opening. If I got this, I would not block off the opening from the hood.

I bought the FTRA and will be doing a back to back test this weekend and next weekend.
I had already done the Free Ram Air Mod but to install this kit I needed to open up the area a lot more hence the test.
I want to see if opening up the filter area even more gets the gains or all the stainless steel
The results will be posted in the DR section Sat night/Sun morn.
