1998 chevy z28. dark green on tan leather. 114k miles. ttops. auto.

POWERTRAIN: engine was replaced at 103k miles with a certified used GM ls1. transmisison was rebuilt at 103k miles. rear end stock. engine runs great, never failed on me. ive had the car since 106k miles and no problems ever. trans shifts great. the only issue i have is that i get a slight tug when i give it some gas (bad transmission mount is my guess), but as long as i keep it under 2500rpm it wont slug at all. gas mileage is great, i have gotten 19.5mpg in the city once (not going over 1500rpm lol) but my usual driving, which is shifting at 2500rpm and going 70mpg on public roads lol, i get 15-16mpg which is way better then my 10mpg stock 5.0 stang lol

INTERIOR: the interior is in average condition for the miles. the previous owner had a pitbull riding shotgun!!! enough said lol. no MIL lights on, everything works. car has a pioneer mp3 cd player with two 10s in a perfect match sub box for camaros/firebirds and its hidden behind the cover! it pounds good, but the amp is a little weird and u cant put the gain up all the way because u will get hiccups... any audio guys out there? help!

EXTERIOR: someone bumped into me when they were reversing and cracked my whole grille and scratched the bumper (i was at work at the time....) i repainted the bumper (about 10 inches of it) and it looks a little better then having a big white scratch mark and chip. it features a new billet grille i bought, clear corners. the car also has a REAL ss hood painted to match and i painted the mini grill in there silver to match the exterior definitions. body is in good shape, a couple of rock chips. the car was scratched 360 degrees around by some asshole, i have not tried buffing it but im sure most of it will come out, it doesnt show unless you really look at it. also, the passenger door has started to sag and it makes it hard to shut from the outside and the window goes up and down very slowly. because of the sag, a small piece of fiberglass chipped off and got lost in the car wash, it doesnt look that bad but it is still noticable. brakes on the car are perfect except they will sometimes squeak (cheap pads). finally, the car has straight pipes. i had my trusted muffler shop cut the muffler off (i still have it) and weld a ypipe in there to make two exits into soem 12' long chrome 3' tips (very nice) its nice and loud and passes emissions with flying colors!

really, all this car needs is a little TLC, and me being at work 55hours a week and going to school, i just dont have the time to give this car the love it needs.

best offer i have had on the car so far was 6200, but the guy wont be ready till summer. now, ill be flexible. im a car salesman, i negotiate every day, but im gettin tired of not having sold this thing yet lol. so......
6000 takes it home... if youre thinking of a number below that, then we can start deleting the system, maybe even stereo, etc. so..... NOW ANYONE INTERESTED???

p.s. you also get a passenger door to a 2002 trans am, silver, with power mirror, power window motor, door lock, ect... just that it is silver.
