Navy Blue Metallic- 1999 Firebird Formula
Trouble deciding
Ok so now that everything is running properly I'm taking on the hideous interior the guy butchered before I got it. This car has the grey/blue interior with the cracked door panels
If you guys don't mind I'd like to get you opinions on a good color scheme for everything.
I'm keeping the midnight blue metallic exterior paint as well
I was wanting to do all black on the inside or a black and silver combo. Thing is should I work on my current interior peices or look to part together actual black panels and such from a t/a?

If you truly want a black interior, get the interior out of another TA. No sense reinventing the wheel when you can just buy one.

Then i have to worry about fixing the cracked black door panels (if they are already cracked). And if they are not then I'd have to worry about keeping them from cracking.
(My reasoning for thinking about hydro dipping my current panels)

I may be stating the obvious but if you have the typical, well documented
door cracks then these would have to be addressed before any hydro dipping
happened on your existing panels!?
The write up on here for doing the cracks is a good one and worked well on mine!
I am sure any pre existing crack would show through this process.
maybe somebody who has more knowledge of the hydro process can chip in?

I agree with Speedy. Get the cracked panels repaired THEN dip them. As for protecting the panels, ask the dipper if they have a UV-resistant coating they could apply.

Oh yeah I figured it was implied that the cracks get fixed first and foremost before painting or dipping.
That would be sweet if they had uv resistant dips!

Lol I'm very indecisive so that's why I'm asking y'all's opinions. I just don't want it to turn out all glossy and smooth lookin like those camaros Rollin on 33s I see over here. Just not my style ya know?

Yep. Black, grey or tan leather would look nice in a T/A imo.
