The bow I bought was new to me... not new but is in almost new condition. It is a Hoyt Razortec, xt2000 limbs, cam and a half, 27-31 inch draw, 50-70#s.
nice.....I bought my bow in 1990 Bear Whitetail 2. I've been shooting it at 60#'s for the last 20 years. I've had my eye on the Mission bows made by Mathews and basically the same thing as a Mathews. Buddy of mine bought one last year for $399. It's a really nice bow for the money.

Well 399 is def cheaper than most Matthews lol. If it works as good that is a good deal. I have it set for 61lbs I think right now. Feels like a good place for me.

I went to the bow shop here and town and looked at them. I asked the guy what the difference was because they had Mathews and mission bows hanging and I didn't see much different. He said "price". haha That one my buddy has is pretty sharp. If I ever do get a new bow that's probably going to be it. The Hoyt bows are nice ass bow's too though. Matter of fact I'd say when you're talking about newer bows there's not a huge gap in performance like there was 15-20 years ago. There are the top shelf $1500 bows but who really buys those? Most people probably stay in that $500-$800 range I would bet. You're getting a good bow no matter what you get in that price range. I definitely wouldn't be opposed to buying used either....not like they wear out as long as it was taken care of. I'm living proof of that with my 20 year old relic

I have a Hoyt that I've been shooting for the past 15 years. It still shoots great so I can't see spending another 1000 on a new setup
