I just looked at one here in AZ this afternoon, 60k original miles for $18,000 and very nice. Not too shabby on price. I see alot of them around the $17-$20k mark, and I see a couple at $23-$24,000 with only 20,000 miles on them. I think that's about in the price range of the CTS-V's with same mileage, and you are getting a much newer vehicle (07-08 is what I'm looking at).
Sweet running little trucks that I believe can crack the 13's in stock form.

With $0 in savings buying a pack of bubble gum would be a concern let alone a vehicle.

well I did the math, and as long as I get a decent amount for the SS, and stick within my price range, my monthly car payment will go down about $50..
but like i said, within the next 3 months, ill have about $1k more in disposable income per month, I'm looking at buying in 7 or 8.
Debt grows much faster than investments, esp a savings account, so right now I'm going balls out paying off debt, other than the 10% I put into retirement each month. By March or April ill be relatively debt free, other than my mortgage and student loan

I would save it and look again in about a year. Prices will be that much cheaper, and you'll have a decent amount saved up. Take that extra disposable income and build yourself a safety net of liquid assets.
