rear end swap
I have both a 94 v6 and a 94 z28. I heard a can put the rear end from my z to my v6 how hard of a swap would that be? Ps I'm new here so don't really know too much also the z28 is dead so I'm using it for parts.

Does the z have better gears? I would check to be sure the z28 has the gear set you're looking for first. With that said, it's a job but will bolt right up. If you're just doing it for the disk brakes you can also swap the disk system from the z to your drum rear as well. Though that is a little more involved than simply swaping rears but it negates the need to drop out your current rearend. Also the z28 rear maybe likely to have a different ABS reluctor and may cause an ABS INOP light to come on. But you can live with that really,, it will just be like the old days of cars without ABS and will still stop fine. You'll just be able to lock the wheels up if you spike the brakes hard enough.

Oh and you will need to have the speedo recalibrated to your new gear set if you swap rears.
