Looks like fun, Walt.
I just went out and aggravated all the neighbors on the hill. Took my brother-in-law and then my nephew for a ride in the Trans Am with the drag tires under the car and the cutout wide open. They were both impressed with its sound and acceleration and were grinning like teenagers in a titty bar when we pulled back in the driveway.
In other news, Sammie's world is about to come crashing down on her. She has a D and two F's right now with about 3 weeks to go in the semester. Her driving days are officially over once she gets back to the house from her grandparents. Anybody want to adopt a teenage daughter with a bad attitude and a nasty streak of laziness?

Keep her away from here. Too much of that in my house as it is

My kid is just as lazy around the house. But has cheerleading, an officer with FHA and softball and her grades are A's.
But she just don't clean that room. Her truck is spotless though.
You should also take her cell phone. Mine hates that.

Swapped the street tires back onto the Trans Am and looked everything over good while it was up in the air. After two track outings, I had less than 1/4 ounce of oil in the catch can. That makes me happy.

Gotta swap my old muffler from the 05 onto the 04 work truck today, rotate the tires and generally go over the truck. It's getting obnoxiously loud since the top of the factory muff decided to open up and start destroying itself from the inside out...and it doesn't look good on the companies behalf me driving around roaring at everything.

Mornin.
Well, the sherriff's deputy ended up showing up at my place yesterday, because the neighbor (those who know the story will understand a little better) got upset at us shooting. I think he got scared when we shot the exploding targets. I'll post a vid of it later - waiting for my buddy to email it to me.
Anyhow, the deputy shows up and asks me if we were shooting high power rifles. I reply yes. He then asks if we were shooting propane tanks. Apparently, the neighbor believes that when you shoot a propane tank, it will explode. They don't. However, we were not shooting propane tanks. We were shooting empty refrigerant tanks, which I showed the deputy. I then tell him that we did shoot some exploding targets, which I purchased that morning at the local sportman shop. I asked if he'd like to see one. At this point, the deputy's expression becomes much friendlier, and he says he'd like to see it, just because he's never seen one before. I retrieve the exploding target, and hand it to him. He looks it over, says he's never seen one before, and then asks me a few questions, mainly because he wants to get some now.
He apologizes for the interuption, tells us to carry on, and says he'll talk to the neighbors and make sure they won't bother us anymore. Mind you, this is the same deputy who was out for the other story. He goes to the neighbor's house, and is there about ten minutes. He leaves and we start shooting again. Blew up a couple more exploding targets. Never heard another sound from anyone.

Is there a "For Sale" sign in the neighbors' yard yet?

People like Walt's neighbors annoy me, and they aren't even my neighbors.

As best I can tell, you really don't have any neighbors Zach.
