Anyone know of a decent rear shock for the WS6 that is not hyper expensive.

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A, 00 FBVert, 78T/A
A set of 4 is around $420.
I have to be honest I went with OEM replacements because I wasn't ready at the time to drop that much $$ on shocks. maybe after I get everything else done.

Probably have to swap out my shocks some day. I painted them and they just look too perfect to replace right now.

I would think that if you just replaced the rears, it would lead to unbalanced handling. The rear would be solid, and the front wish washy. I don't think you would be happy. Could possibly be dangerous in an emergency manuever.

Is there a huge performance difference between a $25 monroe and $100 bilstein. Other then the name, why are they alot more money.

Too many people drink the Kool Aid and believe that parts store shocks ( Monroe, KYB, gabrial ) preform just like the big boys. When you throw you car into a turn you will feel the difference. Emergency handling is also a big issue. I have had DeCarbons, KYB, Koni and now Bilstein's. I love the Bilstein shocks. The Koni's are super adjustable but it was too much for my car. Koni's are for cars with upgraded suspensions and more road racing purpose. Bilstein's are a great all around shock that will work with stock or modified suspensions. Worth the money.
