Dark Knight Rises
Saw it, a little long, kinda like they wanted to cover a lot of ground. But still good.
Wish they had some more fight scenes.
Bain was good but not as great as Joker in the Batman Begins.

I saw it too.
It was good but I don't think they'll ever get a villain as good as Ledger was as the Joker.
And somebody needs to fix the vocals. They sucked. Almost needed subtitles to understand Bane half the time.
Talia Al Gul stirs my inner bat.

Can someone explain to me how Talia Al Gul starts out as a white as day girl in the prison flashbacks but then turns into an Indian woman?

Better then The Avengers IMHO! Bain's plan was better then the Joker's because it worked for the most part. Great movie!

movie was nothing short of epic awesome. just got home from the theatre. talia was a great twist. it was a fitting end to the trilogy...yet so incredibly open ended that another mastermind could step up to the helm and guide a new series from this point forward.

I knew that wasn't right but stuck with it anyways..
Anyone else notice that Scarecrow is the only villain to be in all 3 movies.

Enjoyed the movie. It was more of a Bruce Wayne movie (in my opinion) than a Batman movie. Several things stuck in my head as I was watching it...

As soon as Ra's al Ghul and "offspring" were mentioned I realized Talia was involved... The cane at the beginning of the movie reminded me of Frank Miller's graphic novel, as did the final scene in front of Wayne Manor. Also reminiscent of the 1986 books was the "alluded to" changes below the manor.
Catwoman looked great in her cat suit but I though a little less hot when she was in regular clothing. Maybe I just like skin tight clothes?
I knew Alfred would have to be involved at the end and the final scene of Bruce and Selina I saw as a tip of the hat to all the James Bond movies...
I suspect there were many other subtle reference throughout so I will actually end up purchasing the Blu Ray when it becomes available.Last edited by tnthub; 07-23-2012 at 07:16 AM.

yeah i liked that he popped up in the last one also. cylian murphy was actually a finalist to be bruce wayne/batman but nolan went with bale instead. they liked him enough however to make him scarecrow so i have a feeling that that's why he continues to pop up in each of the films.

My son made this observation:
"If all these bad guys (Scarecrow, Bain, Joker, Two-face, Cat Woman) know it's Bruce Wayne how does no one else figure it out? He has the worse "secret identity" of any comic."

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Man Of Steel trailer that aired before Dark Knight Rises.
The little bit they showed was good, but I'm left wondering if a person would leave contrails since they don't have hot exhaust condensing in the atmosphere behind them.
Maybe he ate at Taco Bell beforehand?
