Ground effects clips
Got a 1998 Trans Am and one of my ground effects is sagging. I took a look and notice that it is missing one the the 90degree retaining metal clips that holds it to the rocker panel. I have been looking every where and can't find anyone who sells them. Does anyone know where I would be able to buy them??? Thanks

my only guess would be to check with the dealer or check with a body shop. I'm sure they would know where to get some.

Take one off to match it and run to the dealer.

Well, I pretty much looked all over for those dam clips and seems like no one else has them. Looks like I am gunna have to make a trip to the stealer. I always hate having to go to the dealer for anything. They always charge so much for stuff. I bet those clips will be like $10.00 each. Bummer.

That's why it's more expensive there,,,because they usually have exactly what came on the car, and it fits the first time
Think of all the time and money you spent running all over town looking for them. That accounts for something too. When stopping at the dealer would have saved all that and the car would have been fixed over a week ago.
I myself don't mind paying more for a quality OEM part that fits like it should. Honestly I don't think those little clips are going to break the bank for you anyway. Frequent there more often and make friends, usually you get nice little discounts.
I'd stop at a dealer that also has a body shop (not all do) because you are more likely to find body clips in stock if they run a body shop along with it.

Silver- 1999 Trans-Am, 2012 Sonic
I agree with firebirdsjones have a good buddy at the dealers parts counter and he has 3 different price points be as smart ass get the top be nice get the bottom! And like he said sure is nice to have the part fit the first time, when your doing mods you don't have a choice but aftermarket, but others try your dealer and make friends...
