Hey bud, I am not always a fan of top stripes on cars, but I have always loved that 30th anniversary look! One of my favorite TA styles, looks great, I'm sure you'll love it. Welcome to LS1, the engine and the site, both are a lot of fun!

Nice! SLP loudmouth is going to be crazy loud if you ever plan to do long tubes and a cam in the future. I liked my SLP LM with headers, but CRAZY loud after a cam swap lol. Is there anything wrong with your LS1 to want to do an LS6 swap? For the money/time put into the swap, is an LS6 going to be worth it if your doing the swap just because? Better things can be had from an LS1 if nothing is wrong with it rather than dumping money into an LS6 swap. Just curious thats all, your car and your money you can do what you want with it.

Black- 1998 Trans Am WS6 'Vert
Nice ride. But while I don't advocate cloning of cars, if that is what your goal is, the first place to start is the wheels and those stripes (the stripes shown in your pictures are NOT 30th Anniv stripes).
If it was my car, I'd just make it a nice white T/A w/ blue stripes (like it is now), and sink the $$ into the mechanicals instead of the cosmetics.Last edited by JohnnyBs98WS6Rag; 04-23-2012 at 08:55 AM.

WS7 = name that people use to indicate they've done all the work to make the TA a WS6 clone, but are not falsely claiming it is a true factory WS6...
WS9 = Production code, I believe it's the Formula code. Then if it is made into a Trans Am it gets a Y82 I think, and finally if it's a WS6 it gets a WS6 code... That's why your title probably says 'Firebird Formula' on it...
So if you look at the RPO sticker on your door jam, you should see WS9 and Y82 on it...
