Zach is 8 years old and would never handle a gun that way.....even a bb gun. Not too mention if I ever caught him handling a gun even remotely unsafe I'd break his ass with my hand. Agree, growing up I had many weapons, more than most adults. I got my first sword when I was 3, got a red ryder for my first birthday from one of my uncles. I got my first bow when I was 4, started shooting .22 at 6-7 and got my 20 gauge for my 10th birthday. I have a huge collections of guns, swords, knives, spears, maces, axes etc today and I have never had a serious incident. The reason for this is because my father taught me how to be safe and how to respect the weapons. It didn't hurt that he made it clear what would happen if I was caught treating weapons in an unsafe manner.
