Arrived home around an hour ago. Just north of Blossburg, there was a southbound car upside down in the median and around 8 cars pulled off the road going both ways. Must have happened just a few minutes before we came through. Ouch.

So damn close to ordering that Victory tomorrow. I want a few things extra.

1. Throttle lock.
2. Tach kit.
3. Custom seat with backrest for passenger (they have a back rest for the front seat as well, not sure if I would want that though...lol).

I looked at those back in '99 or so. I just couldn't convince myself that the company would keep building bikes and went with a Harley. Guess I was wrong.

Tell you what, I rode the Vrod after the Victory and the Yamaha Raider.

Comfort: Raider, Victory, Vrod
Smoothness: Vrod, Victory, Raider
Soul: Victory, Raider, Vrod
Looks: Victory, Raider, Vrod
Torque down low: Victory, Raider, Vrod
HP down low: Victory, Raider, Vrod
Torque up high: Vrod, Victory, Raider
HP up high: Vrod, Victory, Riader

All were very close I would say in the 1/4 but the Vrod was pulling harder after 50 mph. The 250 tire on the Vrod wasnt as noticeable as on the Victory and the Raiders 210 was the easiest to tip in. All handle just fine and I think the Victory was easiest in town. The Vrod felt a little out of touch with the road but its a great bike. All three are awesome and would be happy wit any of them but the Victory is just the bad boy of the three as far as looks. Also, the Victory has a big oil cooler and uses 5 quarts of oil and it is a 6-speed with an actual over-drive tranny.
