Copenhagen Blau/Black- 88 Porsche 951/07 TBSS
My 5th gear set just got here today! I will be posting pics of it as well as some more tomorrow since I plan on putting in a good 8-10 hrs on this build then. The 5th gear set is out of a NA 84 Porsche 944. I'm going to swap it out with mine since it has a ratio of .73 vs the turbo .83. This will give me a drop of around 300 or so rpm while cruising down the interstate in 5th, maybe more. Stay tuned......

Progress for today...got the LS1 down to pretty much a short block with a couple of accessories. Started on removing the Porsche harness...that is where the "real" work is. Anyway, here are a few pics. Oh, and the LS6 intake is here.
I'll be dropping the heads off next week for a nice port and polish!

As far as I know, plastic can be powdercoated as long as it can withstand around 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Since I believe that is the baking parameters for the coating. So if that is the case these intakes should be good to go.

As of now the plans for next week are to drop off heads for P and P and put her up on the lift to swap out the 5th gear set. Keep the inspiration coming guys. I really appreciate the support.

Update for today. I ordered my cam from Geoff at EPS today! It's a 226/230 .598/.599 113 LSA with TEA dual springs and titanium retainers! Should be pretty good additive to this already nasty LS1 ! Pics to come.
