1000 dollar ebay turbo kit... is it worth it or a p.o.s

Ive seen a few turbo kits for the ls1 on ebay for around $1ooo. it seems too good to be true and you know what they say about things like that. it says it will also need a k-member.

i would stay away. the piping and such may fit and work, but im sure the turbos and BOVs are complete junk and will leave you stranded. also is probably missing stuff like fuel system upgrades and such. Ebay kits are good for 90's hondas, thats it.

over the years this sums it up... fuel stuff is missing, turbo's are junk but the piping is somewhat decent... there can be fitment issues depending on suspension and the K member will have to be swapped out for a custom one or (if i remember right) a tubular one...

best bet is to buy their piping and intercooler but buy a good turbo and fuel system you will also need 6.0 manifolds and always have funds for all the misc. things because they will add up. trust me i have to friends doing turbo set ups on their trucks with the ebay stuff

First thing you should do is find someone who has done the install and is happy with it.
In this case I would think "you gets what you paid for it" and nothing more and ususally less.
