silver- 1999 WS6 Cam+Bolt-Ons
heads or nitrous on my cam and bolt-ons WS6?
i just picked up a ws6 not too long ago,
im debating between getting a set of heads for it as the last peice of the puzzle, or keeping the cam+bolt-ons setup and adding nitrous.
which would net me the best gains?
how much can i expect to gain from changing to aftermarket heads on my set up?
heres the mod list:
FLP Long Tube Headers
Corsa Catback Exhaust System
K&N Cold Air Intake
LS6 intake manifold
Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft (230/232 .595"/.595" Lift on 114 LSA)
Comp 918s Valve Springs
Titanium Retainers
Hardened Pushrods
NGK TR55 Spark Plugs
ASP Underdrive Pulley
412 RWHP / 418 RWTQ
thanks everyone
mike

Auto or manual first off? but you will definitly have more fun with nitrous and much larger power gains.

its a 6 speed.
i can get a brand new wet kit (nos brand) from my buddy with everything but the bottle heater for $450.
in your opinion, will nitrous be safe on this car with my mods and 110k miles?

My car is just bolt ons with a convertor, gears, and quite a few suspension mods. I have 191,000 on my car and plan to spray my car this year. So in my opinion, yes youre safe. But im sure others on here will disagree.

just got my kit in the mail.
its this one:
Nitrous Oxide Systems (NOS) 05168NOS - NOS GM EFI Wet Nitrous Plate Systems - SummitRacingEquipment.com
i have a tune on the car right now for the cam and bolt-ons, if i only plan on running a 100-125shot will i require a retune or will the ecu compensate?
i hear of some people being able to bolt kits on the stock motors with no tune and run up to a 125 shot with no problem, will my mods prevent me from doing such?

No aftermarket clutch and rear? That's where my money'd go.

Tick performance level 2 t56.
Monster stage 3 clutch and pressure plate
4.10 gears but not sure if there's anything else in there to beef it up
