how close is it to fitting? You could space it down with washers if it's close enough. I have mine spaced down right now to give me extra clearance on the Y.

Plenty of us on here that do not use them after LT's & ORY install. On a T top nice to have but not critical. Verts that is a different story.

I'm pushing 505 RWHP so it my be kinda critical. I could be wrong. I'm not sure how close it is to fitting back up, I haven't tried since I got it back from the exhaust shop. I never thought to space it.

I guess SFC are more critical for me to get on there at the moment. I was thinking about some 3 points from SLP but I haven't had time to shop around and see what's good and what's crap.
You can never have to much support when it comes to uni body.

Any more ideas? if i was to just space it down, are normal everyday washers ok to use?

Great, i'll give this a try i hope i don't need to space it to far or i'll end up needing new bolts. but shouldn't be a big deal. Thanks

I'm going to guess a blower, turbo, or a bottle. Unless he's running something other than a LS1 under the hood.
I would look into the UMI sub-frame connectors. I have the 2pt. box style welded in, along with a cross-brace that is welded into each sub-frame connector for my front torque arm mount. Pretty stout set-up and I'm also right at your power level.

I'm running a LS3 all forged. LG cam, SDPC heads, LT's, custom Y with high flow catts, and E-cutouts. I haven't gotten it to the track yet because i don't wanna bring my rear end home in a milk crate. Lol

very nice.
I say call up UMI and talk to their tech guy. He is very knowledgeable and was very helpful when I was making my purchase with them.

Yes.- bunch of them
Throw that flimsy tunnel brace in the scrap heap and go about your day. It does precisely nothing.

I would look at the UMI short tq arm. It mounts where the tunnel brace(right?) was and is made to clear aftermarket low hanging exhaust.

Lose the tunnel brace and get an aftermarket drive shaft loop. Most race tracks require one anyway. I have the SLP dsl and it clears my long tubes/Y pipe just fine. BMR, UMI, Spohn, any of those will work.

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
UMI makes different ones for different header setups. Contact them and they'll point you in the right direction.
And you don't need to stamped piece of garbage, but upgrading it won't hurt.
Stocker vs UMI.
