What's the best line lock and how hard is the install

I run an SLP line lock....can't really comment on the others but mine works fine. Easy to install.

SLP sells a decent kit that comes with pre-bent lines. Works like a charm and reasonably priced.

SLP here to. Install is easy. (if the give you directions you can read)
There is a Line Lock sticky if you need help installing it.

I'm pretty certain I've seen it written many times, that the SLP linelock is the only GOOD SLP product

Hurst is the only other one I've heard of that I would trust, but I have no personal experience with it.

I believe B&M makes one as well, however, its a universal system and not fbod specific.

I noticed that some of the line locks specifically stated that they were not for use with ABS equipped vehicles. Not sure what the real difference is as they all kind of look the same to me.

lots of companies make them....edelbrock makes one too. SLP's is a pretty nice unit and the pre-bent lines basically make it a plug and play set up. Unless you just have something against SLP I'd say just get one of theirs.

I will also had to Orion's post that the SLP unit is one of the cheapest.

I have the SLP because it was complete. But if i was to do it again i would make it myself. I wasnt happen where it was mounted. But it is a complete kit that works.
