2000 Grand Prix GTP- 2000 Trans Am WS6 M6
Frankenbird Project
For all those that didn't see my wrecked T/A here is the link:
http://www.ls1.com/forums/f36/trans-...recked-162649/
As described in above link, I will be saving my bird, since I have almost $30k in parts in the car, not including my personal labor/time. I bought a 1994 Firebird that I will be transplanting almost everything to from my T/A. I will be swapping the front clip (bumper, fenders, headlights, and hood), doors (easier than swapping the interior panels), rocker panels hatch, rear bumper (obviously need a new one), windshield (Firebird is cracked and the T/A just got a brand new one a few months ago), my entire interior including roll cage, engine, transmission, rear end, suspension, and exhaust. I will also be doing a t-top conversion and a minitub.
My goal is to have this done before the end of February.
Here are the pics of the "new car". Body is perfectly straight and there is absolutely no rust on this car.
Check back for updates as this project continues...if you have any questions, I will try to answer them as best I can.

Here is the progress I made today. Interior is completely out...no rust what-so-ever.

Haven't decided on the color...I am considering Purple, White, Black, and Matte Black. I don't want any colors that stand out (red, orange, etc.). Any suggestions would be nice.
I'm doing the minitub because in the future I may want to shorten the rear and get wider slicks. It just makes it easier since the entire interior is out and we'll have the welder out for the roll cage anyway.

Pewter- 2001 Camaro SS hard top
Subscribed, best of luck to you. As for color suggestions I've always been a sucker for a white ws6
but I've also always liked the electron blue the c5 vettes had and think it would look killer on a t/a.

Made little progress today. Cleaned out the garage (a lot of dust), and got the car up on jackstands. Hopefully, I'll have the 3.4L out tomorrow.

subscribed! good luck with it man. As far as color goes, something lighter like white, silver etc wont show as much dirt easier to keep clean espcially since it looks as tho you got a dirt driveway. But damn you cant beat black lol.
