Hmmm Samsung sucks at phones eh....might want to tell that to the S2 which is ruling the Cell world at the moment! If you google (I believe everything I read
) You will see what I'm talking about.
I have Galaxy S and you will not find a phone that is built as good. You should have seen the abuse my phone took without breaking....I'm talking some serious abuse (IE: Jumping up and down on it, punching it, kicking it across the room, drove over it, etc...)
Junk I say, pure junk

I wanted to try an Android phone for myself and got the Galaxy S2 because ALL the online reviews I read on android fan sites were nothing but slack-jawed drooling.
If I'd never had an iphone, I would've thought it was the best phone ever.
Several people on this and other forums mentioned that Samsungs were buggy so I tried the HTC Vivid which was also highly rated.
The Vivid is what made me dump Android as it sucked so bad it made the Galaxy S2 look phenomenal.
I also had an Asus Eee Pad transformer which I rooted and overclocked. It too left me with the impression that Android is not finished cooking so I sold it.
Maybe ICS will change my opinion.
This Article pretty much sums up my experience, though I didn't start off as a Fandroid.
Bottom line: I tried android for myself because it was impossible to find an unbiased review of it. Now I'm pretty convinced that many who hate on the iphone online have never used it for any length of time beyond checking it out at the store or using their friend's phone momentarily.
Edit: When I had the S2, I used MP3 Ringtone Maker app. Worked well for creating ringtones on the phone itself, no need for a computer. Just the !@#$ phone would not use the specified ringtone about 10% of the time and would revert to the factory ringtone. The other 90% of the time it would use my custom ringtone just fine.Last edited by CJREX; 12-28-2011 at 07:02 AM.

And for the record, I'm not an iPhone hater. I've never personally owned one. I know a lot of people who love them and have had them from their inception and upgraded to the newer versions as they came out and have not had any issues. I also know people who have owned them and converted over. So, like mentioned, it's all about personal preference and what you want out of the phone and need it for.
