Nice how you failed to note the Redskins came closer today than even I predicted. Again, all the Redskins need is a good QB and normal luck re injuries and the team would be a post-season menace. A year from now, I'll almost certainly be proven right. It's not like plugging Peyton Manning into all-around lousy, a la the Seahawks, for example. Washington has no big holes anywhere, except QB and maybe kicker (easy fix). I've never seen any team in that situation before, in a few decades of following football (maybe hence teams rarely jump 5 wins between seasons). Philly should be a playoff team this year as is and isn't because???, so it's a different story.

Er, he's a mediocre coach and I will hope against hope that he is forced out at season's end; but not long ago he was making the playoffs in some post-Elway seasons, with teams less talented than I expect the Redskins to be next year.

hold on a second.....I want to give some props to Dallas' kicker
That was some funny ass shit right there......Dallas is still inventing ways to lose in December. I can't wait to see what they do next week......

I actually called that, but for the kick that was iced, not the actual block. Thanks to the Redskins, I've become used to blocks. And it's not like the Cowboys would have had an edge in OT.
Side note: the Packers won the Super Bowl today. New England showed itself to be inadequate defensively. Brady and tight ends have little chance against the real deal Green Bay is.Last edited by clovenhooves; 12-11-2011 at 09:11 PM.

IMO Brady and company won't get the opportunity this year.......I'm thinking Ravens or Steelers.....probably steelers.

Good all around game by the pack, but...... Jennings hurt NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
He will def be missed in the coming games, we have like 14 other receivers but none as good as Jennings IMO.

Once again, you've missed the point.
I've never had an issue with Tebow(or the Broncos, for that matter), unlike others have. I am going to show this pic to my friend TJ. If you want to speak with someone Anti-Tebow, or Anti-Florida Gator, he's your person.
At the same token, I'm not going to bother explaining the rest of it, or anything, to the likes of you.Last edited by FasstChevys; 12-12-2011 at 09:11 AM.

The bears really lost that game. They had it in the bag and just thought lets let the Broncos win.

calling a time out's like that are just petty. No excuse for the kicker, dumbass should have expected that would have happen.
for the records I was never impressed by Wade Phillips coaching. He's good at defense coordinator but not a head coach.

Same old story for Dallas, Garrett is a piss poor coach and Romo puts up good stats but chokes on pressure like he is staring a donkey cock 2 inches from his mouth. Dallas finds ways to lose and with Dallas losing DeMarco Murray, put a fork in them, they are back to being a one dimensional team and defenses will just play them to pass 85% of the time again.
I am a Patriots/Brady fan, Gronkowski is a fucking beast and Welker is great, but the Patriots are not going to win the AFC with that pitiful excuse of a defense. They weren't exposed yesterday by the Deadskins, its been known for a while their defense is very vulnerable. If Flacco was complete shit at QB, I would say it was Baltimore's to win, and had Houston not lost Schaub, I would give them the nod, but we could be in for a Super Bowl rematch.
The Deadskins are more than just a QB and coach from being a playoff team. A long ways.
Tebow has the heart of a fucking champion, the guys intangibles are unmatched plain and simple. I don't care for him, but he plays with more guts than 99% of the other guys in the league.
***Newsflash***
Green Bay is miles ahead of everyone else in the NFL and will repeat as Super Bowl champs. Not sure if they go unbeaten though, they have just about wrapped up everything in the NFC and don't have much left to play for.

I don't think shanny is the problem at all. We need more talent on the o-line like williams and then the obvious qb. With those two things the skins will rape but it's a few years off still. I doubt we'll get a qb next year so i'm hoping for a big ass o-line and a good kicker to make do. Helu is already a machine I can't wait to see what he does with some blocks.

never say never......a lot can change once the playoffs start and they usually do. Look at a few years ago when baltimore went into foxboro as a wildcard and smashed the patriots in the mouth. I would've never guessed that would happen. Saints are coming on....I truly believe they will have something for the pack even in Lambeau. The Saints running game is one of the NFL's best kept secrets. Their D, although not that great, has the potential to step up when they have too. Chris Johnson had 11 carries for 23 yards yesterday and they shut Megatron down for the most part the week before that. All that isn't even factoring in Brees.

Agreed with NO run game... in the past, run offense has been measure by a single back who does great things. Barry Sanders, Emmit Smith, Adrian Peterson, Raymond Rice.... etc. But in NO case, they have 3 backs who (4 if you include Ivory) who all do great with what they're given. 10-15 touches a game and a handfull of passes yet they still put up decent numbers.
