Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A, 00 FBVert, 78T/A
I had traction issues all night on street tires (Nitto 555), 1st pass was the best (8.2), after that it got ugly (mid 9's all night). I tried several different rpm's to find a sweet spot to lauch at and couldn't find one.
The 2011 Camaro owned my ass all night, not that I expect any difference. Best surprise was last race against a 97 LS1 Vette. We both spun in the box, I shifted to 2nd and got traction and pulled away from him then on. He let off 1/2 way down the tract, I was already 5-6 car lengths in front.
I know I want 2 things before I go back - a line lock & cut-outs. I know not I won't get any real performance gains, just want the line lock to help warm tires.
I won't get DR's until I get me a 9".
There were a few F Bodies out there, one had a complete Trickflow package with a FAST 102 intake. He move pretty fast stayed in the low 8's all night. On the stock rear & no suspension upgrades. He knows he's going to blow it soon.http://www.ls1.com/forums/f7/my-6-liter-build-174257/
