radio suggestions

Ok, i am looking to upgrade my radio and speakers but not looking to win competitions just want a nice sound.

I have the stealth box sub and that is all i want/need. BUT my amp blew which was given to me from a friend so i have no idea what it was, also the front door, rear seat and back trunk area speakers were all updated but have all started to vibrate and annoy the crap out of me.

I need to know the difference between 2 way, and 3 way which is preferred? Looking for suggestions on a new head unit, speakers, and an amp. just so you know i do not want a headunit that has all sorts of extras like sirius or xm, or USB for an mp3, just need a good head unit for radio / cd player only. Then which type of amp would be good, i remember hearing stuff about cross overs but not sure if that is headunit related or amp.

If you have any websites with reviews for this stuff that'd be great too.

I am also not looking to break the bank so if I can get a good unit for 175 and a great unit for 300 i want the 175 unit.

First I would check all the speakers and see if they are blown or its just a loose connection or loose screws holding the speakers. Do you want the amp to run all the speakers or just the sub? Brands are all subjective, everyone has their favorites. Do you have the monsoon system?
